She played softball, volleyball, soccer and even ran track.	Chicken Pox Just got fun Debbie had the chicken pox and was not one to sit still. No worries her older sister Cheryl brought her games and things to do while recuperating in Homer, AK.

She is a good seamstress and made clothes for the children to help stretch the budget.

A talented family Wayne and Joan at the piano. In college they traveled together with a quartet group. Wayne sang bass and Joan played the piano. That beginning brought them to marriage in 1962.
